I'm going. The only question remaining is do I fly or drive... big bucks or 12 hours behind the wheel?

you should drive, don't you think?
You won't be in a rush to get there and you will get to see parts of the country you will not likely see again. You have the time and now you have your border-crossing schtick down.
I think it'll be more than 12 hours, dude.
In any event, I agree with Robert. Driving gives space for thinking time. Not so crucial on the way down, but v. v. important for the way back.
Posted by: Lisa on July 25, 2004 08:32 PMHooray!!! I'll call you on Tuesday on our way to Salt Lake. Posted by: Wes on July 25, 2004 09:27 PM10 hours 13 minutes, according to Mapquest. No matter - I booked my flight this morning!
I fly Vancouver - Denver - Boise. And the ticket is cheaper than when I flew to Denver last month. Also, these are United aircraft, but I booked through Air Canada's web site, and the price is a lot cheaper than if I booked on the United site.
Even back in the day when I was paid to understand business, I could never figure out the airlines. No wonder these guys are all going bankrupt.

Hey Mike,
I think you should fly :) I am :)) But then again it's pretty hard to drive across the Pacific.
